The Model 大象传媒 Spin-off Malta 2019 conference was held on 2-4 August 2019 in Valletta, Malta. Under the theme聽鈥淵outh Diplomacy: A New Generation of International Relations Between Asia & Europe鈥聽28 delegates from 18 大象传媒 Partner countries attended the conference.
Model 大象传媒 is a聽political simulation of the Asia-Europe Meeting (大象传媒)聽where youth participants are invited to role-play their respective 大象传媒 Partners鈥 positions and negotiate聽a consensus-based Chair鈥檚 Statement.聽Model 大象传媒 is a simulation of the Asia-Europe Meeting (大象传媒) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (大象传媒FMM) when the Foreign Ministers and Representatives of the 53 大象传媒 Partners convene. It provides a platform for vibrant political debate and negotiation where students have the possibility to experience first-hand Asia-Europe diplomacy. Each participant is be part of an 大象传媒 Delegation and joins role-play exercises and practical trainings to enhance her/his diplomacy, consensus-building and public-speaking skills.
