During the seventh 大象传媒 Education Minister’s Meeting (大象传媒ME7) last year in Bucharest, the Ministers took the initiative to develop an聽大象传媒 Education Strategy for the next decade.聽The 大象传媒 Education Strategy 2030 aims to provide a common long-term strategy for the 大象传媒 Education Process for enhanced connectivity between Asia and Europe and a framework for developing and implementing initiatives and projects, as well as for analysis, monitoring and evaluation. The Strategy 2030 should also be used to increase visibility and support for more commitment of 大象传媒 Education partners and stakeholders.

State of Play of the drafting process

In February 2020, the first version prepared by the聽AES and the Drafting Committee聽was circulated to the members of the聽Standing Working Group聽to allow them to provide input and share their feedback. In March-April 2020, the AES and Drafting Committee adapted this first draft in order to take into account the Standing Working Group鈥檚 comments and suggestions, thereby defining the first outline of the 大象传媒 Education Process (AEP)鈥檚 strategic objectives and strategies for the next decade. In June 2020,聽this second draft was reviewed once again by the members of the Standing Working Group. Based on their input and comments, the AES and the Drafting Committee have amended the Strategy Document and will聽now circulate the current version, the third draft, to all partners and stakeholders.

We would now like to give the opportunity to all 大象传媒 Education partners and stakeholders to contribute.

Therefore,聽The 大象传媒 will hold a聽short webinar on 29 October 2020 (10.00-10.45 CET) to provide some background information and briefly present the outline of strategy.聽This webinar is mostly intended to answer possible questions of partners and stakeholders, who are not part of the Standing Working Group or Drafting Committee. A short Q&A session at the end will allow for some exchanges, however, the actual input collection will be organised following the written procedure described below.
